3 Steps of Jade Rolling x Osea Products to Use
If you are like us, you are always down to try the latest clean beauty hacks and love a life of wellness. But at what are we just going through the motions without a clue as to why or if something that is trending is even going to work. Take jade rolling, for example... We hear it's good for inflammation, but, why? Well, jade rollers not only work to drain our lymphatic tissue, but if sequenced properly within your skincare ritual, they also work to distribute vital nutrients across our skin's moisture barrier. Let's get into it, shall we?!
Here's the sequence and Osea products we suggest you pair that we swear by...
1. Cleanse the skin. We suggest the Ocean Cleanser unclog your pores. This cleanser gently opens our pours to allow the nutrients within our body (yes we have nutrients internally that can care for our skin) and to meet the nutrients of the sea.
Here are the key ingredients at play:
- Undaria Seaweed: Rich in amino acids, antioxidants and nutrients to mineralize the skin.
- Bentonite: A natural smectite clay that works to remove surface impurities and excess oils to detoxify and unclog pores without stripping skin.
- Lactic Acid: Gently exfoliates skin.
- Glycerin: Gently moisturizes, smooths and hydrates.
- Nourishing Oil Blend: A blend of jojoba and sesame oils, rich in essential vitamins, nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
2. Apply Hyaluronic Sea Serum directly after your cleanse. Now that our pours are open, the hydrating ingredients in this serum can actually seep deeper into fine lines to hydrate, nourish, and thus plump our skin. The result is a reduction of wrinkles and increase of balanced skin.
Here are the key ingredients:
- Japanese Miru Seaweed: Replenishes & balances
- 2X Hyaluronic Acid: High and low molecular weights work synergistically to boost hydration, fullness and firmness of skin.
- Volcanic Marine Ferment: This unique marine ferment effectively plumps and smoothes fine lines.
- Snow Mushroom: Forms a hydration layer on skin to seal in moisture.
3. Now, it's time for your jade roller. If you take one thing from this blog, it's that you must open your pours before using your jade roller or gua sha. If you don't, it's still going to move lymph, but you will barely benefit from any of the nutrients in the skincare products you are using. Add a spray of Sea Minerals Mist to Dayglow Face Oil, mixing them together, and applying to your skin before jade rolling too. The dead sea salt in the Sea Minerals Mist will keep your skin's pours open as you roll and the undaria seadweed infused grapeseed and argan oil blend in the Day Glow Oil offer anvomega rich way for the roller to smooth out any blockages in your lympth tissue.
Here are the key ingredients at play here:
- Undaria Seaweed: Rich in amino acids, antioxidants and nutrients to mineralize the skin.
- Aloe Vera: Cools, depuffs, and repairs the skin.
- Neem extract: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-aging. Helps balance our skin's oil production, and in turn minimizes acne, post-pimple scars and hyperpigmentation.
- Dead Sea Salt: toning, purifying, activates pours for other minerals to penetrate deeper
Try this sequence and let us know how your skin looks and feels! How often should you do this? Ideally every morning, but you will still see benefits if you do this every other day. Repetition is key, and sequencing properly is everything! Happy glowing loves!
