A Weekender's Guide to Boulder
As the sun begins to shine a bit brighter, we’re sharing our current weekender guide for brunch, coffee, and hiking you must give a try this season. Hit up our spots and let us know what you think!
Current Coffee Spot
It’s hard to choose, as we’re blessed with some of the most charming coffee shops. We love Dry Storage for its minimalist aesthetic, and a simple menu curated like no other. Our fav coffee drink is the Espresso Yuzu Tonic. Our fav toast is a tie between the Swirl Jam on artisan milled bread and a classic avocado toast with herb butter and a seven minute egg. Their Mushroom Kombu Onigiri is out of this world too.
Favorite Brunch Spot
Corrida is a spanish-inspired chophouse with stunning mountain views from their rooftop. It’s hands down the best brunch view in Boulder! Get the Patatas Bravas, Tortilla De Patatas, Mantecadas De Astorga Cinnamon buns, and of course their iconic Gin and Tonics.
Hidden Hike We Love
The Hogback Ridge Trail is a loop trail in north boulder just off of Lee Hill. It meanders past intermittent springs, ponderosa pine savannah and brings visitors through the remnants of the 1990 Olde Stage Fire. Our favorite part is how it brings you to a valley at the top with a sizable rock perfect for a picnic or little sun nap. Simply head north on Broadway, turn left on Lee Hill, right on 5th, left on Dakota Blvd and it’s right there. It’s Note: Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
Favorite Post Hike Bite to Eat
There’s nothing like an oat milk flat white and avocado toast with smoked salmon post hiking Chataqua. It’s right down the street from the trail, and you can sit by the outdoor fireplace surrounded by trees and crisp mountain air.
