Rachel Comey (b. 1972) is an American fashion designer and creator of her eponymous New York–based label. The brand grew out of the downtown arts scene of New York in the early 2000s, beginning as menswear before expanding to womenswear. Her collections are known for artful custom textiles, graceful modern silhouettes, and covetable footwear — worn by the likes of Michelle Obama, Cindy Sherman, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
