Tonga Garlic Basket

These Garlic Baskets are made entirely of Ilala palm leaves in rural Bulawayo, Zimbabwe by women of the Ndebele tribe. The weaving is traditional and passed along from one generation to the next. Women gather to weave and connect with each other under the shade of large trees with their children playing nearby. 

The baskets are measured using a soft tape measure like a seamstress would use. The tape is run from the center of the base of the basket, around the curve of the bowl, then up the neck. Because of the wide variety of shapes of these baskets, the measurement is a CONTOUR measurement, NOT a straight LxWxH.

Online Returns with Re:do

As a small business we can only offer exchanges or store credit within 10 days from the delivery date of your order. only goods that are returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging are accepted. Our final sale items are the same as reflected above.

Customers now have the option to pay $2.98 using re:do at the time of purchase to later quality for free, unlimited returns on your order. If you do not purchase re:do at checkout, you will be responsible for all costs for your return.

jones + co will process your online order within 24-36 hours given all items are in stock. orders are shipped via usps, ups and fedex. we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items once it has been shipped. any damage to a received shipment must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

1-2 business day expedited shipping is available at an additional rate of $30.00 USD for domestic orders only (excludes international shipping)

we strive to keep the website’s inventory updated at all times, but in small batch life in shop shelf life is swift. if an item is sold out, you will be notified via email or telephone. orders with sold out items will be refunded back to the original card, or the remaining order will be sent partially fulfilled, per the customer’s wishes.
